Joining the Resilient Readers Club has been a game-changer for me! Prior to joining, I'd been feeling like I was in a bit of a rut and needed to switch up my routine, but I didn't know where to start. When I got a message from Charlene asking me to join, I said yes, even though I admit that I was a little hesitant initially. I'd read a few self-development books prior to joining, but had never been a part of a book club in any capacity and was nervous that I wouldn't have much to contribute. However, after the first meeting, my whole attitude changed, and I was suddenly excited instead of nervous. The first book we read for RRC was "What If It All Goes Right" by Mindy Audlin, and it completely opened my mind to a new way of thinking that I'd never experienced before. All of a sudden, the book was all I was talking about, so much so that 4 of my friends bought the book after I couldn't stop raving about it. Within days of reading "What If It All Goes Right", I started to see the results of changing my mindset, and I was hooked.
It's not just the actual reading that has had such a positive impact on my life, but the sense of community that comes along with being a part of the RRC. There is something so special about being around a group of women who think the same way I do and are looking to be their best selves. When we meet, it feels like a group therapy session with the perfect combination of love & support mixed with tons of laughter. Hearing other people's stories helps me to look at life through a different lens and opens up my mind to new perspectives that I never would have experienced otherwise. I feel lucky to be in the RRC and highly recommend it to anyone looking to bring out the best version of themselves!! Even if you're not sure if self-development books are for you, give them a chance. After all, what if it all goes right?
Joining the Resilient Readers Book Club has been such a great decision in 2025 for personal growth. As someone who’s been in leadership for over a decade, I’ve read a lot of development content—but listening to these books as both a narrator-in-training and a lifelong leader has helped me revisit, reframe, and reignite what I know in new ways.
What makes this club special is the community. You’re not just reading—you’re engaging in open, thoughtful conversations about how the content truly changes you. It’s a safe, inspiring space that feels real.
My favorite book so far has been Let Them Theory. It helped me reframe boundaries as acts of self-respect. One quote I still carry with me: “Let them think what they want. Let them go if they must.” Since joining, I’ve set clearer boundaries, deepened my self-compassion, and committed more fully to intentional living. Thinking about joining? Do it. This group challenges, supports, and uplifts—exactly when and how you need it.
